As the crowd starts making its way into Second Life, there is no long line at the entrance, but there are sure alot of questions floating around. New Second Lifers are wandering the grounds asking about how to do this, who's doing what, where can I do that, and what do I do when this happens. In short, because there is so much building going on, and everyone wants a piece of the action, there is some level of confusion.

As always, money talks. Some users are able to purchase anything they want, and some users have to count on their own ingenuity. It is possible to buy anything from an island or a new car, to fancy clothes and personal genitals. Some of this can cost you plenty, but if you are clever and keep your eyes open, you may receive some interesting gifts from other users that you meet.

A Separate Virtual Universe : Second Life

With Second Life all the recent rage in Web 2.0, there are still plenty of users that are there just to have a good time. Although marketers are busy trying to find a way to make a profit in the new virtual universe, the normal folks do what they usually do. There is plenty of socializing and a lot of flirting and chatting, and in the evening everyone heads out for a night on the town. That might mean dancing to Techno music till dawn, sitting in a virtual bar, or it might mean a roll in the hay with one of those sexy Second Lifers.

Like Mitch Wagner recently wrote in his post at theInformationWeek :

"As with every medium since cave paintings, sex is a big part of Second Life. The virtual world is a haven where people can fulfill their sexual fantasies. But it also has a dark side.

Now with the release of the Second Life 1.16.0. update,GamingInstinctwanted to do a feature on the Divas of Second Life. I know that you can't judge a book by its cover, but there are so many hot babes walking around in this 3-D virtual world that I just gotta say something nice!
If there is anyone out there who somehow hasn't heard about Second Life, it is a virtual 3-D world owned and constructed entirely by its residents. Since opening its doors in 2003, it has grown very rapidly and today boasts a total of 6,642,422 members worldwide.

If you are a new comer, be sure to check out Linden village. Pathfinder Linden claims to have originally started the Village because he felt it that it was important for the Linden Lab employees to be seen and viewed, in order to give the Residents an opportunity to learn more about them and to let them explore their homes.

Now that Second Life has become a massive success, everyone wants to be a part of it. Now it is becoming all the rage for first world tech companies. Microsoft has recently opened Visual Studio Island within the world of Second Life to promote their Visual Studio product, and many more are on the way.

Anyway, Like I mentioned before, I would like to dedicate this post to all of the fine looking divas that can be seen all over Second Life. Many of the pictures on this page are from users that post their profiles on flickr. The artistic work that I have seen is very high quality, and the avatars from Second Life have a real personality that is hard to match.

With the new update up and running, there have been plenty of bugs in the
system, although the Team at Second Life has obviously been putting in alot of overtime in an effort to smooth out the wrinkles as soon as possible.

From what I've seen, this game is just getting started. It is the place where everyone wants to be, some to game, some to sell, and some to build. Anyway, it is a universe that is growing extremely rapidly and it is gonna be even huger than it is now.

I am relatively new to Second Life, but I am working on my game and hope to get it together soon. If any of you see GamingInstinct Jewell around, don't be afraid to get to get to know me.

By the way, if you see any of these gorgeous gaming babes around, don't be afraid to say hi. Just let me warn you, you better know how to act, or you may find yourself devoured by the black widow of Second Life.

Runescape Universe : Cheaters Beware !!

For the uninitiated, RuneScape is a massively multiplayer on-line role-playing game (MMORPG) that is also the name of a virtual world complete with monsters to slaughter, quests to fulfill and a bounty of treasure to win. RuneScape encourages personal freedom and individual styles through allowing players to decide what is important to them. Some enjoy fighting their enemies with missiles or magic while others prefer the upclose battles with powerful beasts or other dangerous enemies. In the world of Runescape, quests can be one of the most fulfilling and profitable things to do, and players are encouraged to travel and meet other characters. This will allow you to use skills that you might otherwise overlook. With more than one hundred existing quests in RuneScape and rising, this is providing players with new frontiers and new profit.

RuneScape is constantly changing and expanding their world and has a members version that is available as well as a free version. In the Members version, players can subscribe to take part in exciting new quests, minigames, and other playing areas and skills that are updated regularly to the game. There are helpful user forums for upcoming news and other announcements as well as specific rules and codes of conduct.

I ran across a writer called pen name that has done a ton of reviews about different aspects of the world, and has alot of great articles on the subject at Gameolosophy, a site that has a large assortment of tips and updates from readers on RuneScape.

Speaking of conduct, there are alot of issues about some of the tips and cheats out there on RuneScape. Be advised that an update on the site posted on May 11 describes the ongoing efforts of RuneScape to remove the cheaters from the game. If you are using tons of cheats, don't be surprised if you wake up one morning in the future to discover that you have been permanently banned. It is happening.

Spiderman 3 'The Game' : Disappointing

Although the movie premier of 'Spiderman3' got off to a much stronger start than a lot of people expected, 'Spiderman 3 - The Game' has proven to be a little disappointing at this point. The game is getting a low review ranking so far and it is likely that many of those who decided to buy the new game may be a little disappointed.

The graphics don't always seem to work properly and some aspects of the game don't load.

Unofficial Rumors - Gods of War : PSP, FALLOUT 3

Although the Gods of War : PSP is scheduled to make an exclusive EGM preview next month, secret pictures somehow found their way to the internet. (How could that have happened?) Although it may not impress GOW, the new photos now
provide readers with an awesome glimpse of what is to come. From the high quality of these pix, GamingInstinct feels that there will be plenty of surprises in store from the new GOW : PSP although anxious users will just have to wait until the "official" pictures hit the newstands in a week or so.

Another countdown ( 33 days and counting) is currently underway is for FALLOUT 3, the long awaited RPG from Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda has announced that it will broadcast the first world premier of Fallout 3 on June 5. At that time, the game will officially be revealed when a trailer of the new game will go live. For those of you who just can't wait to take a look at the final version, I found this tasty video morsel (2003 tech demo) that will let you see what Black Isle Studios had in mind before Bethesda bought the property rights for the game.

Halo 3 website update : Unveiled
If you haven't yet heard about it, you have to go check out the newly updated official site for Halo 3 and see how the times have changed.
Gone is the low-tech look of yesteryear, and in it's place is a totally professional web site loaded with details and jam packed with lots of hot new screenshots. There are some interesting changes that add some additional information, but there is one pretty face (that knows how to kick some serious butt - Miranda Keyes) that is missing completely from the cast list at this time. This is what we have to look forward to from Halo 3.

For interested parties, a public beta test will be available in Spring 2007 and is scheduled for online play at midnight (U.S. West Coast Pacific-Time) on the 16th of May, 2007. Bungie, the makers of Halo 3 are completely secretive about the features of the new game and at this time, only small amounts of information have been released. In the Halo 3 Trailer - Behind the Scenes, Bungie confirmed that the video scenes were designed from the actual game assets and that the final Halo 3 should be very similar.

According to sources, although the game is still brand new, there is already an update available called Shores of Evendim.

How do Digg! and Reddit benefit the community?

Gamers like to play games. I guess that much is obvious. Sometimes a gamer will be satisfied shooting at everything and anything that moves in the private of his/her own game world, but more often than not, they look for friends to play against. Competition is much more interesting when you have a good adversary as an opponent to push you past your limits.

Where do you find new games to play, and how do you find good gamerz out there to challenge you at your favorite new game?

Social network sites of course.

Sites like Digg, reddit, and StumbleUpon have tons of gaming users and even MySpace wants to add a new gaming category. Users are free to browse through profiles of other gamers to locate and make new friends that share their specific gaming interests. You get a chance to see who likes what, and in addition to finding new games and gadgets, you can find out what music your opponents like, or see what your rivals latest favorite video is.

In addition to looking through profiles and browsing through lists of friends, Digg and reddit have lots of gaming articles that are interesting and occasionally amazing. Even if you think you have seen all of the best free games online, don't be surprised if your Digg friends find things that only dedicated users know about.There is always lots of fresh news for the gaming community and plenty of gaming updates for 'gamerz only'.

Let's not forget about the old fashioned kind of socializing. There are lots and lots of guys and gals out there who are great gamerz, and it can be fun for guys to battle some of those tough gaming gals online. These females can fight like a real man, believe me. I got my butt trashed once by a karate kickin' babe that left me 'dazed and confused', gasping on my back in the dust. Later on, we kissed and made up, and everything was fine...

Face it world, Digg and reddit are changing the shape of the world as we know it, and I for one, think it has some very good possibilities.
